All you need is a paper plate and some buttons to bring a spot of colour into your room!

Materials needed:
Paper plate
Craft paper
Buttons
Small piece of thin ribbon
Three (or more!) long pieces of ribbon
Glue
Scissors

Craft paper
Buttons
Small piece of thin ribbon
Three (or more!) long pieces of ribbon
Glue
Scissors
Method:

1. Cut out triangles from craft paper (we chose yellow colour).

2. Glue the paper triangles all around the inside rim of the paper plate.

3. Glue on buttons of various colours and sizes to cover the centre of the plate. (Instead of using buttons, you can experiment with coloured paper bits, toffee wrappers, coloured cotton wool or anything else you find interesting.)

4. Once the glue has dried and the buttons are in place, turn your sunflower around. Attach a loop of thin ribbon to the back rim of the plate to use as a hanger.

5. Finally, glue on long, ribbon strips to the bottom ... and watch them dance in the wind!
